SUMMARY

Nicknamed the ‘Panda’ for its white dial and contrasting black sub-registers, this latest generation Daytona - launched in 2016 - is one of the most sought-after configurations of Rolex’s eponymous motorsport-inspired watch. In addition to a heritage that can be traced back to 1963, reference 116500LN is highly-regarded thanks to its stainless steel finish, ceramic ‘Cerachrom’ tachymeter bezel, and updated design; the latter of which affords it a more contemporary appearance. The Rolex Daytona was released in 1963, and this particular watch is one of the first Daytonas of 2023 - the year that marks 60 years since the original watch’s release. Along with other iconic references such as the Submariner, Datejust, and DayDate, the Daytona has since become a much-loved constant fixture in the Rolex lineup over the last six decades.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.

Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase
