SUMMARY
First launched in 1956 as the world’s first chronometer wristwatch that could display the date and day of the week through windows in its dial, the Day-Date has become synonymous with luxury as a flagship model in Rolex’s catalogue. This 2022 reference is presented in a contemporary 40mm size and offers an appealing mix of precious materials. The case and ‘President’ bracelet are crafted from 18K white gold and complemented by a dial forged from meteorite. Adding a final touch of luxury are the baguette diamond hour markers. Whilst a fully modern Rolex, this 2022 reference still retains the essence of the Day-Date’s original design.
