For auction through a UK-based trade seller, this 2021 Rolex Daytona ref. 116518LN comes as a full set. The watch is presented with its original display box, outer sleeve, user manual, service booklet, swing tags and proof of Rolex’s five-year guarantee covering the watch until 2026. The vendor has graded the watch ‘AA’ for condition and the images appear to be consistent with their assessment.

Finished in striking 18K yellow gold, this 2021 Rolex Daytona measures 40mm in diameter and comes fitted with the brand’s highly-exclusive ‘meteorite’ dial. The dial - which retains the Daytona’s trademark chronograph complications at three, six, and nine o’clock - is fashioned from a fragment of the Gibeon meteorite that fell to earth in prehistoric times. This precious material is composed of iron-nickel alloy peppered with cobalt and phosphorus. Surrounding the dial is a black ceramic tachymetric scale - a design feature retained from the original Daytona of the 1960s that - to this day - still allows racing drivers to work out their average speeds over a race distance. Adding a sporty aesthetic to the watch is a black ‘Oysterflex’ strap. Fashioned from highly-durable rubber, the strap is fitted with a contrasting 18K yellow gold ‘Oysterlock’ safety clasp

Driving this latest iteration of the iconic Daytona is Rolex’s 4130 calibre. This automatic chronograph is considered to be one of the greatest movements ever produced by Rolex thanks to its reliability and high levels of precision. Calibre 4130 has a power reserve of 72 hours.
