ABOUT THIS WATCH
- Introduced in 2010, the evergreen Rolex Submariner ‘Hulk’ is seen as the spiritual successor to the much-loved Submariner ‘Kermit’ - a reference launched in 2003 to celebrate 50 years of its iconic dive watch
- Since its discontinuation in 2020, the Hulk has become a highly collectable piece on the secondary market
- The watch takes its name from the green sunburst dial and green ‘Cerachrom’ bezel
- The 40mm ‘Maxi’ case features broader lugs, a thicker profile, and a wider bezel over previous cases used in the manufacture of the Submariner
- The screw-down crown affords this robust dive watch with 300 metres of water resistance
- Beneath the rear casing beats Rolex’s calibre 3135, an automatic movement with a 48-hour power reserve and chronometer certification
- Like all Submariners, the ‘Hulk’ is paired with an Oyster bracelet
- The clasp is equipped with a Glidelock extension which offers tool-free adjustability
