ABOUT THIS WATCH

• Introduced at Baselworld 2012 and discontinued in 2020, the two-tone Rolex Submariner ref. 116613LB heralded a new era for Rolex’s iconic diver alongside its all-steel and all-gold counterparts
• A number of changes and upgrades were introduced that have gone on to define the modern Submariner and these include the introduction of a ceramic bezel insert and a larger ‘maxi case’ and ‘maxi dial’
• On this reference, Rolex added a touch of luxury to its utilitarian Submariner with yellow gold touches on the bezel, crown, bracelet centre links, hour markers and hands
• Despite its more dressy appearance, this reference is still a highly-capable diving tool thanks to its 300-meter waterproofness 
• ​Rolex’s calibre 3135 movement beats inside, offering chronometer-certified accuracy alongside a 50-hour power reserve
