SUMMARY
When it launched at Baselworld 2016, the Rolex Daytona 116500LN was the model that The Crown’s enthusiasts and collectors had been eagerly anticipating. The ceramic “Cerachrom” bezel on this latest reference gives the watch a bold and more substantial appearance and complements the glossy black dial. Attached to the case is a three-link Oyster bracelet with polished centre links, and its clasp features an Easylink extension providing up to 5mm of tool-free adjustment. Housed underneath the screw-down case back is Rolex’s automatic calibre 4130, which has a 72-hour power reserve, is chronometer-certified, and then tested after casing to a tolerance of +2 to -2 seconds per day.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase.
