• When launched in 1993, the Audemars Piguet Offshore offered buyers an oversized, bolder version of the ‘Holy Trinity’ watchmaker’s iconic Royal Oak
• Despite its enhanced dimensions, the Offshore has retained all of the design features that have made the Gérald Genta original such a revered piece of watchmaking
• These design elements include such the ‘Tapisserie’ dial, angular case, and octagonal bezel
• Like its illustrious sibling, the Offshore is offered in a variety of sizes and specifications
• This highly exclusive reference is one of just 50 pieces produced worldwide, and is configured with a 42mm stainless steel case encompassing a bright lime green Méga Tapisserie dial with a matching rubber strap
• The dial has two black sub-registers at three and nine o’clock, plus a matching inner rotating dive bezel controlled by the crown at 10 o’clock
• Despite its playful, bright character, the Offshore Diver offers genuine underwater utility thanks to a water resistance of 300 metres
• Beneath the transparent caseback beats Audemars Piguet’s calibre 3124/3841, an automatic movement with a 50-hour power reserve
