SUMMARY
The Royal Oak collection from Audemars Piguet is defined by its iconic octagonal bezel and its range of eye-catching dials. Its bold aesthetic has made the Royal Oak an enduringly popular watch since its debut in 1972. This technically-impressive modern iteration was launched in 2016 and showcases the watchmaker’s attention to detail on the inside and outside of the watch. The calibre 3132 is openworked with a double balance which offers greatly improved precision and stability, as well as adding visual interest. The movement components are crafted from a blend of gold and nickel anthracite to create plenty of contrast and really highlight its intricacies. Tracing the perimeter is a track with gold applique markers which aid the wearer in telling the time alongside the gold hands which are all filled with Super-LumiNova.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
