Sell it with usThis one-owner Rolex Daytona ref. 116528 was purchased new by the vendor in 2005 and is presented with its display box, outer box, sleeve and booklet. Also included is a Rolex Service Centre guarantee card dated August 2013 showing that the watch was serviced. The case and bracelet show marks and scratches commensurate with age and regular wear. The vendor has confirmed the watch is in good working order, grading it ‘A’ for condition and the images appear to be consistent with their assessment.
The ref. 116528 brings a decidedly luxurious feel to this iconic watch. The instantly recognisable case measures 40mm in diameter and Its ergonomic design is suited to a range of wrist sizes. It’s paired with an Oyster bracelet and both are crafted of solid 18K yellow gold, offering plenty of wrist presence. The dial has a crisp white finish with applique gold indices and hands, all of which are coated with Super-LumiNova to provide superior legibility to the wearer. Curved around the sub-dial at 6 o’clock, the red “DAYTONA” script adds a touch of colour.
Housed inside the case is Rolex’s first in-house chronograph movement. The calibre 4130 was introduced in 2000 and has powered the Daytona ever since. It’s equipped with an impressive 72-hour power reserve in addition to being chronometer certified.
The Daytona has long been one of Rolex’s most coveted watches. With a history in motor racing, the model represents the perfect combination of sporty looks and luxuriousness.
