ABOUT THIS WATCH

• Released in 1993, the Offshore is a bigger, bolder, more rugged version of the iconic Audemars Piguet Royal Oak
• Despite its beefed up dimensions, it retains all of the design features that have made the Gérald Genta-designed original such a classic piece of watchmaking
• This reference is a limited edition of just 50 pieces released in 2009, made to commemorate the prestigious classic-car rally that takes place on the winding roads of the Swiss Alps every other year
• Crafted in lightweight titanium the case measures 42mm and features a rubber-clad bezel and chronograph pushers
• Housed within is a grey ‘grande tapisserie’ dial with contrasting sub-registers and bold arabic numeral hour markers
• Adding a touch of colour and sportiness are the red chronograph and sub-dial hands, as well as the upper chronograph pusher
• Paired to the watch is a sporty black leather strap with red contrast stitching and accents
• Inside the case beats the Audemars Piguet caliber AP 2326 / 2840, an automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve
