ABOUT THIS WATCH
- Launched towards the end of 2021 and a recent prize winner at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève for the best dive watch, the Pelagos is an interesting reference from Tudor with its development based on direct input from the Marine Nationale
- The company’s connection with the French navy stretches back decades and is associated with some of the most iconic and sought-after vintage Tudor Submariners
- As hinted in the name, the FXD’s 42mm titanium case has fixed bars - a design not commonly seen in modern watches, but one that provides more strength and durability
- The black ceramic bezel insert has a regular 60-minute diving graduation, replacing the inverted scale on the original FXD from 2021
- This model also features a black dial and snowflake hands, making it very legible
- Paired with a one-piece green fabric strap with a red centre stripe
- Powered by the chronometer-certified calibre MT5602 movement; an automatic movement with a 70-hour power reserve
