ABOUT THIS WATCH
- This Black Bay Chrono was launched at Watches and Wonders 2021 to celebrate 50 years of Tudor chronographs
- Its predecessors include the Oysterdate ‘Homeplate’ - the first Tudor chronograph in the brand’s history - the ‘Monte Carlo’, and the ‘Big Block’
- The watch’s black dial is finished with two white sub-registers
- As per Tudor design language, the retro theme is continued courtesy of a brushed, vintage-style stainless steel bracelet, which reflects the materials used in the construction of the 41mm case
- Beneath the screw-down caseback beats Tudor’s calibre MT5813, a automatic certified-chronometer developed in conjunction with Breitling
- Calibre MT5813 has a 70-hour power reserve
- In addition to its chronograph functionality, the watch’s Black Bay casing offers 200 metres of water resistance
