SUMMARY
The Air-King was updated in 2022, bringing some key updates to this quirky pilot’s watch. Rolex has done away with the chunky case shared with the Milgauss and has introduced a more sleek and angular alternative. For the first time on the model line, crown guards have been added - bringing the Air-King’s silhouette more in line with other big hitters like the Submariner and GMT-Master II. Rolex has committed to the daring dial design of the previous reference but introduced some small revisions for a more cohesive layout. A “0” has been added to the first five-minute marker for better visual symmetry and a luminous coating has been applied to the “Explorer-style” 3,6 and 9 numerals.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase.
