SUMMARY
Launched in the late 1990s, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph is a much-loved chronograph version of the luxury brand’s Gérald Genta-designed sports watch. The case of this 2023 example is sized for contemporary tastes measuring 41mm in diameter with a thickness of just 10.8mm. Finished largely in brushed stainless steel with expertly hand-polished bevels, the watch features the highly desirable smoky black ‘Grande Tapisserie’ dial with contrasting white gold-finished sub-registers. Internally, the watch is powered by Audemars Piguet’s calibre 3285, a self-winding movement offering chronograph functionality and a 40-hour power reserve.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase.
