Sell it with usThis one-owner 2022 Yacht-Master 42 ref. 226659 in white gold was purchased new by the vendor from a Rolex authorised dealer. It’s a full set and accompanied by the display box, outer box, warranty card, sleeve, booklets and swing tags. Rolex’s five-year international warranty covers this example until 2027. The vendor advises the watch has been worn sparingly and has graded it ‘A’ for condition. The images appear consistent with that assessment, showing only light hairline marks on the case and clasp.
In 2019, Rolex expanded its range by releasing the Yacht-Master 42. Sized for contemporary tastes, the polished white gold case has substantial wrist presence, adding 2mm in diameter to previous iterations. In keeping with other precious metal models in the range, the rotating bezel is fitted with a ceramic insert that’s media blasted with polished markers and numerals. The gloss black dial features gold indices and hands filled with Rolex’s proprietary “Chromalight” luminescence - providing high levels of contrast and legibility.
Housed underneath the screw-down case back is Rolex’s latest generation calibre 3235. This self-winding movement is chronometer-certified and tested after casing to a tolerance of +2 to -2 seconds per day. The power reserve is rated at 70 hours.
The watch is secured to the wrist via Rolex’s “Oysterflex” rubber strap, which suits the watch’s aesthetic and allows it to be dressed up or worn casually. It also offers the wearer the convenience of up to 20mm of tool-free adjustment thanks to the Glidelock clasp.
