Offered by a trade vendor, this Rolex Yacht-Master ref. 126655 is sold along with its display box, outer box, warranty card, booklets and swing tag. The vendor advises that it's in mint condition, and within the bounds of a ‘AA’ grading. Rolex's international warranty provides cover until 2027.

In 2015, Rolex introduced a new aesthetic to its Yacht-Master range with the ref. 116655. This historically significant model was the first to offer an “Oysterflex” rubber strap and was the first Yacht-Master to be crafted in “Everose” gold.

The watch presented here is the recently updated version of this release. The ref. 126655 offers the same design and features with several key updates. Inside the case beats Rolex’s latest calibre 3235 movement, which features a 70-hour power reserve and is tested after casing to a tolerance of +2 to -2 seconds per day. Also new is the Glidelock system in the clasp, which offers up to 20mm of tool-free fine adjustment.

The Yacht-Master was introduced in 1992 as a more opulent and upscale alternative to the Submariner. The watches are characterised by a case more rounded and fluid than the slab-sided shape of other Rolex sports watches, and the range has continued to expand to introduce new styles, sizes and materials.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.

The description of this auction lot is, to the best of the seller's knowledge, accurate and not misleading. Watch Collecting requests a range of detail about the lot from the seller, and performs a level of due diligence. However, bidders must satisfy themselves as to the accuracy of the description, and conduct any research they feel is necessary before committing to a bid.
