SUMMARY
This reference blends two-tone construction with the Sky-Dweller’s distinctive styling and functionality. Sitting atop the 42mm polished case is Rolex’s iconic fluted bezel, which is finished in 18K yellow gold, and is directly connected to the movement - acting as a ‘Ring Command’ for adjusting the watch’s settings. Also finished in gold are the crown, hands, markers, coronet and the Oyster bracelet’s centre links.
The Sky-Dweller presents its GMT and date complications in a unique way. The date wheel and cyclops are classic Rolex, but the month is indicated in small apertures that trace the dial’s perimeter. Equally unique is the 24-hour inner ring that displays the second time zone.
