Sell it with usOffered by a private vendor, this lot presents a unique opportunity to own Rolex’s latest GMT-Master II ref. 126720VTNR. It’s accompanied by the display box, outer box, warranty card, booklet and swing tags. Rolex’s international five-year warranty provides cover until 2027. The watch is presented in new, unworn condition, and its condition is consistent with the vendor’s ‘AAA’ grading.
Launched at Watches and Wonders in March to the surprise of collectors and enthusiasts, this new “lefty” GMT-Master II is a trailblazing reference being the only one to offer a green and black bezel and the first in the model line to have the crown and date aperture positioned at 9 o’clock.
Already earning its nickname the “Sprite”, the watch is presented in a 40mm stainless steel case with wide squared-off lugs synonymous with modern Rolex design. The gloss black dial features white gold hands and applied hour markers filled with Rolex’s Chromalight luminous material to offer superior legibility to the wearer. A fourth GMT hand, finished in green, can be referenced against the 24-hour bezel to track multiple time zones simultaneously.
The watch is paired with an Oyster bracelet with polished centre links and an Oysterlock clasp. An Easylink extension offers 5mm of tool-free adjustment.
Housed underneath the screw-down case back is Rolex’s latest generation calibre 3285. In addition to being chronometer-certified and tested to an accuracy of +2 to -2 seconds per day, this automatic mechanical movement has an impressive power reserve of 70 hours.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
