KEY FACTS:

• The latest generation of Rolex's rugged and GMT-equipped Explorer II line is fast becoming a collectors' favourite

• The watch takes on the larger 42mm Oyster case of its predecessor but introduces some subtle but purposeful changes 
• Some excess bulk has been shaved off the lugs, the black dial has been changed from a matte to a gloss finish, and the hands, which were blacked out at the centre on the previous reference, are now completely polished 18K white gold
• What hasn’t changed is the Explorer II’s undeniable tool-watch aesthetic and its brushed steel bezel with 24-hour scale which allows the wearer to track two time zones simultaneously 
• The large Chromalight filled hands and markers provide superior legibility in all lighting conditions 
• Housed inside the case is the chronometer-certified calibre 3285 movement, which boasts a 72-hour power reserve 
• This 2022 example is offered by a UK-based private seller who purchased the watch new from a Rolex authorised dealer
• Presented with its display box, outside sleeve, warranty card, purchase receipt, booklets, wallet, and swing tags
• Two spare links are also included where the bracelet has been sized 
• Covered by Rolex's five-year international warranty until 2027
• Graded 'A' for condition by the vendor who reports that the watch is in good working order
