Sell it with usPurchased new by the vendor from an authorised dealer in the UK, this 2022 Rolex Deepsea Sea-Dweller is presented with its display box, outer box, warranty card, sleeve, booklets, swing tags and spare links where the bracelet was sized. Rolex’s five-year international warranty provides cover until 2027. The vendor advises the watch’s condition is like new and has graded it ‘AAA’. The images appear to be consistent with that assessment.
Rolex’s most hardcore dive instrument, the Deepsea Sea-Dweller, was first introduced in 2008 and showcases the brand’s technical achievements. More than tripling the depth capabilities of the regular Sea-Dweller, its water resistance is rated to an impressive 12,800 feet / 3,900 metres.
The Deepsea makes its intentions clear as a robust dive watch with a stainless steel case measuring 44mm in diameter and over 17.5mm thick. Despite the size, Rolex has fitted the watch with a titanium caseback to reduce weight and enhance comfort. The accompanying Oyster bracelet features a Fliplock wetsuit extension and Glidelock clasp, providing the convenience of 15mm of tool-free adjustment.
Housed inside the case is Rolex’s latest generation calibre 3235 movement, which offers 70 hours of power reserve, chronometer certification and is tested after casing to a tolerance of +2 to -2 seconds per day.
With Rolex releasing a new iteration of its Deepsea model in 2022, this reference is now discontinued and no longer available at retail.
