SUMMARY
This modern interpretation of Rolex’s archetypal sports chronograph is crafted from 18K rose gold and specified with an exotic meteorite dial. Aside from its ethereal appeal, the crystallised iron and nickel structure of meteorite has its own unique beauty. The watch features a ‘Cerchrom’ bezel which is engraved with a tachymeter scale as a nod to the Daytona’s motorsport history. Housed inside the waterproof Oyster case is the in-house calibre 4130, which is both chronometer certified and tested after casing to a tolerance of +2 to -2 seconds per day. Complementing the watch’s sporty character is an Oysterflex rubber strap.
