SUMMARY

First launched in 1956 as the world’s first chronometer wristwatch that could display the week’s date and day through windows in its dial, the Day-Date has become synonymous with luxury as a flagship model in Rolex’s catalogue. This 2022 example has all the model’s iconic hallmarks including the precious metal construction and President bracelet but with the added desirability of a factory diamond-set bezel and hour markers. Housed inside the waterproof case is Rolex’s robust and reliable calibre 3255, which is tested to +2 / -2 seconds per day and is equipped with a 70-hour power reserve.
