Sell it with usThis one-owner 2022 Rolex Day-Date comes as a full set, and is auctioned with its original box, warranty card, user and service manual, and swing tag. Rolex’s five-year international guarantee will cover the watch until 2027. Purchased through an authorised dealer, there are no swirls or markings on the watch’s case or bracelet, and it fits within the bounds of the vendor’s ‘AA’ grading.
Measuring 36mm in diameter, this Rolex Day-Date is finished entirely in striking 18K yellow gold. The fluted bezel - a trademark of the design - and ‘President’ bracelet earmark this watch as one of the all-time classic Rolex references. The ‘champagne’ dial blends seamlessly with the rest of the watch’s configuration, and furthermore, its baguette hour markers are also finished in gold. In line with the rest of the Day-Date family, the day sub-register is located at 12 o’clock, and the date window is located beneath a cyclops magnifier at the 3 o’clock position.
Beating at the heart of this legendary watch is Rolex’s 3255 calibre, which is insensitive to magnetic interference and has a power reserve of up to 70 hours. This automatic movement beats to an accuracy of +2/-2 seconds per day.
Introduced in 1956, the Rolex Day-Date was the world’s first watch to show the day and date of the week. Now a staple in the Rolex line-up, this watch is also nicknamed the ‘presidential’ after being worn by several US Presidents.
