SUMMARY
Few watches combine history, versatile style and quality watchmaking like the Rolex Datejust. A model that seamlessly crosses over from dress to sport, it’s been a staple in the Geneva giant’s catalogue since 1945. This contemporary 41mm example has all of the Datejust’s identifying features but brings additional wrist presence with its two-tone construction and sunburst Champagne dial. The fluted bezel, bracelet centre links, crown, hands and hour marker surrounds are all fashioned from 18K yellow gold. Inside the case beats Rolex’s robust and reliable calibre 3235, which has a 70-hour power reserve and is chronometer certified.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase.
