Auctioned through a private collector, this 2022 Patek Philippe Nautilus Perpetual Calendar is brand new, boxed and never worn. Presented with its original lacquered wooden display box plus official documentation including the watch’s warranty paperwork, user manual and proof of valuation for insurance. In line with its age and the vendor’s report, the watch is in perfect condition and working order. Given the information and images they have provided, the reference correlates within their ‘AA’ grading assessment.

This watch is being managed by Watch Collecting for the duration of the auction and is being held in a secure third-party facility. Watch Collecting will release the watch to the successful bidder after the vendor confirms they have received payment.

The iconic Nautilus case measures 40mm and is made from 18K white gold. It features the rounded octagonal bezel and equally distinctive integrated bracelet, also made from 18K white gold. The watch is expertly hand-finished with a blend of brushed and polished surfaces throughout.

The horizontal baton-style dial design is in blue sunburst, with white gold applied hour markers that have a luminescent coating, offering superior legibility to the wearer. The dial displays the perpetual calendar complication indicators, including day, date, month, leap year, and moon phases. The watch movement is an in-house mechanical self-winding automatic Calibre 240 Q. Patek Philippe states that this ‘ultra-thin’ calibre allows this model to have its thinnest perpetual calendar movement. The back of the case provides a superb exhibition display of the movement, complete with Patek Philippe’s highest quality finishing and the stamped Patek Philippe Seal. The water resistance is noted as 60 meters.

Introduced in 1976, the Patek Philippe Nautilus was designed by renowned watch designer Gérald Genta and was in part inspired by a ship’s porthole. Today the instantly recognisable Nautilus watch has gone on to become a highly established reference and enjoys a wide following amongst watch collectors.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
