SUMMARY
This 2022 Omega Speedmaster ‘57 measures 40.5mm in diameter and pays homage to the original “Speedy” launched in 1957 with its reference-specific ‘Broad Arrow’ hands and fixed stainless steel tachymeter bezel. Despite its retro appearance, the Speedmaster ‘57 is powered by the thoroughly modern Omega 9906 calibre. Visible through the rear-viewing crystal, this Master Chronometer movement has a magnetic resistance of 15,000 gauss and a power reserve of 60 hours. Despite its technical capabilities, calibre 9906 has a deceptively attractive Rhodium-plated finish with Arabesque waves.
