SUMMARY
Displaying all of the care, attention and skill of Grand Seiko’s master watchmakers, this 2022 limited edition celebrates the 55th anniversary of the brand’s 44GS case. With its distinctive wide lugs, the 44GS was first launched in 1967, creating a new foundation for the Japanese watchmaker’s design ethos. It’s since been used in a number of models including this ref. SBGJ255, which boasts titanium construction, and the added utility of a GMT complication. On the underside, the calibre 9S86 is handsomely decorated with a unique winding rotor created through a process of anodic oxidation.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
