Offered by a UK-based trade vendor, this full set 2022 Audemars Piguet Code 11.59 Chronograph is accompanied by its display box, outer box, warranty card and booklets. Audemars Piguet’s extended warranty provides five years of cover. The vendor advises the watch is unworn, and its condition appears consistent with their ‘AA’ grading. 

The 41mm case of this AP Code 11.59 is finished in 18K rose gold and is expertly hand-finished with polished bevels across the mid-case, lug hoods and pushers. The smoked grey dial is nuanced with a vertical satin-finished base, pink gold applied hour-markers and hands and a black inner bezel with a tachymeter scale. 

AP has fitted the watch with a double-curved sapphire crystal, which is both a curiosity and a highly-unusual piece of watch engineering. The crystal’s internal surface is dome-shaped, but is vertically curved from six to 12 o’clock, thus creating a unique visual experience for the wearer. 

The Code 11.59 is powered by AP’s calibre 4401, which is shared with the brand’s iconic Royal Oak Chronograph. Viewable through the exhibition case back and elaborately decorated, this self-winding automatic movement comprises 40 jewels and has a power reserve of 70 hours.
