SUMMARY
With its alchemy of form and function, the Oyster Perpetual has been a firm favourite in the Rolex family since 1923 and this latest iteration is no different. Measuring 28mm in diameter, this reference is finished entirely in stainless steel with a timeless black baton dial. It’s adorned with white gold baton markers and hands which are coated with Chromalight luminescence. A gold Rolex crown sits proudly at 12 o’clock. Beneath the watch’s screw-down caseback beats Rolex’s 2232 calibre; an all-new chronometer-certified automatic movement, which was introduced in 2020 with a power reserve of 55 hours. The attached Oyster bracelet is now equipped with an Easylink extension for the first time on the range – providing the convenience of tool-free adjustment for the wearer.
