RolexGMT Master II

This 2021 Rolex GMT-Master II ‘Meteorite’ is offered for auction by a private seller. The watch is accompanied by the box, booklets, warranty card and swing tags. Rolex’s 5-year guarantee policy covers the watch until 2026. Presented with no significant marks, it appears to be within the bounds of the seller’s ‘A’ grading.

The watch has a 40mm case that wears with more wrist presence than its dimensions would suggest, thanks to the wide squared-off lugs synonymous with modern Rolex design. The ‘Cerachrom’ insert is finished in the iconic red and blue ‘Pepsi’ specification. The bezel surrounds a dial that’s literally out of this world – the reference 126710BLRO incorporates the use of meteorite alongside its 18K white gold case and bracelet. A first for the GMT line, no two meteorites slices are the same, making this example the only one in the world with this dial.

Rolex’s latest generation calibre 3285 movement is housed underneath the screw-down case back, which is equipped with a 70-hour power reserve. Its chronometer certification and additional testing assure consistency of timekeeping to +2 to -2 seconds per day.
