Sell it with usOffered by a private collector, this full-set Rolex Daytona ref. 116518LN is presented with its display box, outer box, warranty card, sleeve, booklets and swing tags. The watch has factory protective stickers on the case flanks and clasp. Some light swirls are visible on the case back. Its overall condition appears within the bounds of the vendor’s ‘A’ grading.
The ref. 116518LN was launched in 2017 and introduced a brand new look to the iconic Daytona mode line. With an 18K yellow gold case and Rolex’s Oysterflex rubber strap, it's a watch that successfully blends luxurious and contemporary materials. Size-wise, the watch maintains the same 40mm diameter and distinctive profile as all Daytonas in Rolex’s catalogue. The bezel is crafted from ceramic and engraved with a tachymeter scale as a nod to its motor-racing heritage. A screw-down crown and pushers remind the wearer of the watch’s water resistance and all-around versatility.
The champagne dial has an eye-catching sunburst finish with contrasting black sub-registers marking the chronograph timing and constant seconds. The blackened white gold hour markers are filled with Chromalight luminescence.
Internally, the watch is powered by the calibre 4130. This automatic movement is Rolex’s first in-house chronograph and has been powering the Daytona since 2000. It’s chronometer-certified and tested after casing to a tolerance of +2 to -2 seconds per day. The power reserve is rated at 72 hours.
