Sell it with usAuctioned through a UK-based private vendor, this one owner 2021 Rolex Datejust 36 is being offered as a full set. The reference is accompanied by its original Rolex display box and outer sleeve, user manual, service booklet, and a guarantee card proving that the watch is covered by Rolex’s official warranty until 2026. Further additions to the unworn watch include the reference’s original swing tags. The watch wears no visible marks, and given its age, it is naturally within good working order. The vendor has given it an ‘AA’ grading, and the photos and information provided appear to correlate with that assessment.
Finished in stainless steel with a white gold fluted bezel, this 36mm 2022 Rolex Datejust 36 is very much the quintessential classic Rolex. This watch’s ‘fluted’ bezel is synonymous with the Datejust 36 and contributes to its timeless aesthetic. The bright black dial provides the wearer with superior visibility thanks to its simple lume filled hands and baton hour markers, which are finished in white gold to prevent tarnishing. As per the Datejust’s traditional design, a magnifying ‘cyclops’ glass is located atop the date aperture at three o’clock. Anchored to the watch is a sturdy stainless steel ‘Jubilee’ bracelet which is renowned for its comfort and high-quality finish.
The watch is driven by Rolex’s 3235 calibre; an automatic, chronometer-certified movement with power reserve of up to 70 hours. Announced at Baselworld in 2017, this calibre features 14 Rolex-patented components and is highly regarded for its accuracy and reliability.
The Rolex Datejust was introduced in 1945, and was the world’s first chronometer-certified watch to display its date in a window on the dial. Over the last eight decades, the Datejust has become an icon amongst Rolex models thanks to its iconic design and durability.
