From a private collector in the UK comes this Rolex Air King 116900, retailed in 2021 and now available as a full set which includes its outer box, presentation box, guarantee, booklet, sales receipt and swing tag. Aside from some minor scuffing to the clasp on the bracelet there is very little visible wearand the watch appears to fall within the bounds of the seller’s A rating for overall condition. 

The watch is housed in a 40mm steel case on its original bracelet. The dial is black with the Rolex crown appearing in yellow, and the Rolex signature in green. It also features three different types of indexes: applied markers on the 3, 6 and 9 position, 5-minute printed white markers for the rest of the dial and an applied white luminous triangle at 12 o’clock. A green seconds hand complements the Rolex signature; and the Air-King font appears below the hands.

The 3131 automatic movement in this Air King is protected from magnetic interference by its blue Parachrom hairspring and nickel phosphorus lever, as well as a soft iron Faraday cage.
