Audemars PiguetRoyal Oak Offshore Chronograph

Known amongst collectors as "The Beast", the Offshore shocked the industry when it was announced almost 30 years ago, with its robustness, thick profile and, of course, 42mm stainless steel case. To mark the 25th anniversary of this game-changing model, Audemars Piguet created this re-edition in 2018 - a faithful nod to the past but with all of AP’s latest production technology and expertise.

The watch is unmistakably “AP”, with its distinctive angular case, hexagonal bezel, and integrated bracelet. Expert hand-finishing is featured on the finely polished lug bevels and the bezel. The Offshore is distinguished from the standard Royal Oak by the robust bezel gasket and rubber-clad crown and pushers. The dial is a striking blue with a “tapisserie” finish - a look synonymous with line. The watch is equipped with a 12-hour chronograph displayed in sub-registers. Powering the watch is the in-house calibre 3126/3840, boasting a 50-hour power reserve, chronograph and date complications.

This 2021 example shows light signs of wear on the case and bracelet, and its condition is within the bounds of the seller's A grading. The sale includes the original box, warranty card, and manual.
