SUMMARY

The Heuer Carrera is a seminal watch. Clean and utilitarian, it debuted over half a century ago and helped set a course for decades of watch design that goes far beyond the confines of racing watches or chronographs. One of 1,860 examples, this limited edition Carrera was introduced in 2020 to celebrate 160 years of Heuer watchmaking. A faithful tribute to the original from the 60s with vintage cues like a domed sapphire crystal, this modern iteration has ecru-coloured Super-LumiNova to emulate the look of patinated vintage examples. Adorning the screwed-down sapphire crystal caseback is an engraving showing ‘One of 1860’. An appealing watch for motorsport and watch enthusiasts alike.
