ABOUT THIS WATCH
- When launched in 1993, the Audemars Piguet Offshore offered buyers an oversized, bolder version of the ‘Holy Trinity’ watchmaker’s iconic Royal Oak
- Despite its enhanced aesthetics, the Offshore has retained all of the design features that have made the original such a revered piece of watchmaking
- These design elements include the ‘tapisserie’ dial, angular case and octagonal bezel
- Like the regular Royal Oak, the Offshore comes in a wide variety of sizes and specifications
- Despite being the smallest member of the Offshore family at 37mm across, this white gold example from 2023 remains as bold and luxurious as its larger siblings
- The bezel, case and lugs are set with diamonds and this theme is carried over to the dial, where the hours are marked with brilliant-cut diamonds
- The watch is paired with a black rubber strap and signed Audemars Piguet deployant clasp which is also decorated with diamonds
- Beneath the ‘Royal Oak Offshore’-stamped case back beats Audemars Piguet’s calibre 2385, an automatic movement with a 40-hour power reserve
