This 2020 Rolex Submariner ref. 114060 is being sold by an established UK-based watch dealer. It’s presented with the box, warranty card, and Watch Register certificate. In addition to the manufacturer’s warranty, the seller is also providing a 12-month guarantee. The watch’s condition is within the bounds of the seller’s AA grading.

The watch presents in a 40mm stainless steel case which wears with more wrist presence than its dimensions would suggest thanks to large squared-off lugs synonymous with modern Rolex design. While the Submariner has well and truly moved into the realms of luxury since its tool-watch beginnings, it hasn’t lost any of its utility. The screw-down trip-lock crown affords 300m of water resistance, and the large white gold indices and hands are filled with Rolex’s proprietary “Chromalight” luminescence for superior legibility. Housed underneath the screw-down case back is the tried and tested calibre 3135. This long-running movement is both chronometer-certified and tested after casing to a tolerance of +2 to -2 seconds per day. The watch is secured to the wrist by a satin-finished Oyster bracelet with Rolex’s Glidelock extension system providing up to 20mm of tool-free adjustment.

Introduced at Baselworld 2012 and recently discontinued, the ref. 114060 defined a new era of Submariner design. The ‘no date’ Submariner was updated with some significant changes from its predecessor but remains the purest expression of the world’s most recognised dive watch.
