Sell it with usFor auction through a private seller, this one-owner 2020 Rolex Sky-Dweller comes presented as a full set. Purchased from an authorised dealer in December 2020, this watch is accompanied by its original display box and outer sleeve, user manual, proof of Rolex’s five-year warranty covering it until 2025, plus a set of swing tags. Furthermore, the factory-issued protective film still remains on the case flanks, case back and the bracelet’s clasp. The reference appears to have no visible marks or scratches and therefore fits with the bounds of the vendor’s ‘AAA’ grading.
Finished in a bi-metal blend of stainless steel and 18K yellow gold, this dual-time Rolex design boasts significant wrist presence, and its 42mm case is characterised by its 18K yellow gold fluted bezel. This classic piece of Rolex design surrounds an easy-to-read ‘Intense White’ dial, which showcases the watch’s second time-zone display via an off-centre 24-hour disc. The case is attached to an Oyster bracelet with polished 18K yellow gold centre links.
The Sky-Dweller is powered by Rolex’s 9001 calibre. This automatic, chronometer-certified movement was developed entirely in-house by Rolex and is considered to be one of the brand’s most advanced movements thanks to its selector wheel, which is responsible for ensuring the interaction of all the watch’s moving parts. The calibre 9001 has a power reserve of 72 hours.
The Rolex Sky-Dweller was introduced in 2012 and was the first all-new Rolex for three decades since the Yacht-Master in 1992. It is considered to be the brand’s luxury travel watch thanks to its dual-time and annual calendar functions.
