Sell it with usAuctioned through a private seller, this 2020 Rolex Daytona is presented as a full set. Accompanied by its original display box and outer sleeve, the watch is also provided with its original documents including proof of Rolex’s factory warranty, which covers the reference until 2026. The owner has also included a set of swing tags as part of the ensemble. There is no damage or noticeable marks to the watch, and the information and images provided by the vendor place it within the bounds of their ‘A’ grading.
Thanks to its black rubber ‘Oysterflex’ strap and 18K yellow gold case, this 2020 Rolex Daytona combines the classic aesthetic of the reference with contemporary style. Measuring 40mm in diameter, this 2020s interpretation of Rolex’s iconic racing watch is fitted with a black, ceramic tachymeter bezel and a sunburst champagne dial, which serves as a point of visual intrigue. In keeping with the Daytona’s traditional design, there are the usual subdials positioned at three, six, and nine o’clock. However, the Daytona’s more typical hour markers are replaced with a diamond set, thus providing the watch with a sense of increased purposeful luxury.
The watch is driven by the Rolex 4130 calibre which is chronometer-certified and has a power reserve of up to 72 hours. Developed entirely in-house by Rolex, this sturdy automatic movement beats to a frequency of 28,800 vph and comprises 44 jewels.
Introduced when Rolex became the title sponsor of the Daytona International Speedway in the early 1960s, the Rolex Daytona has become one of the brand’s most loved references thanks to its distinctive design and association with world class motorsport.
