SUMMARY
The Day-Date is one of Rolex’s most revered designs and was the world’s first chronometer wristwatch to display the date and day on the dial. This modern Day-Date 40 is sized for contemporary tastes while maintaining the model line’s timeless style. Constructed from 18K yellow gold, it’s paired with a President bracelet which is a trademark of this versatile dress watch. The dial is finished in gloss black with applied gold batons marking the hours. Beneath the screw-down rear case back beats Rolex’s in-house developed 3255 calibre; a highly-precise certified chronometer movement packing a power reserve of 70 hours.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase.
