SUMMARY
Measuring 36mm in diameter, this Rolex Day-Date is finished entirely in striking 18K yellow gold. The fluted bezel - an enigmatic design component of all dressy Rolexes - and ‘President’ bracelet earmark this watch as one of the all-time classic Rolex references. The champagne dial blends seamlessly with the rest of the watch’s configuration, and furthermore, its baguette hour markers are also finished in gold. In line with the rest of the Day-Date family, the day aperture is located at 12 o’clock, and the date window is located beneath a cyclops magnifier at the 3 o’clock position. Beating at the heart of this legendary watch is Rolex’s 3255 calibre, which is insensitive to magnetic interference and has a power reserve of up to 70 hours. This automatic movement beats to an accuracy of +2/-2 seconds per day.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase.
