Sell it with usAuctioned via a trade vendor, this Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph is presented as a full set. The watch is accompanied by its official AP warranty, original box and booklets. The watch appears to be free of marks and blemishes, placing it within the bounds of its seller’s ‘AA’ grading.
Typical of the AP Royal Oak line, this watch has a significant wrist presence thanks to its angular 41mm rose gold case. The octagonal bezel is also finished in rose gold and stands out thanks to the model’s signature hand-polished bevels. The chocolate-toned “Grande Tapisserie” dial has contrasting gold sub-registers at the three, six, and nine o’clock positions. This watch’s brown alligator strap perfectly complements the darker hues characterising the casing and dial.
Underneath ref. 26331ST’s screw-in rear case is AP’s self-winding automatic 2385 calibre, which is made of 304 components. This automatic movement possesses a power reserve of up to 40 hours.
Conceived by legendary watch designer Gerald Genta in 1972, the Royal Oak was a pioneer for luxury stainless steel sports watches. It’s since been reinterpreted by the brand in different materials and finishes, including this example in rose gold.
