RolexOyster Perpetual 39

When Rolex announced its updated Oyster Perpetual line last year, there was a notable absence of the 39mm variant. After a mere two-year life span, the reference 114300 had been discontinued. Given its near-perfect 39mm case dimensions and extremely short production run, the watch has become something of a collector’s piece.

This 2019 example features white gold hands and baton hour markers applied to a sunburst black dial. Incredibly versatile in design, the watch can be dressed up or down and has the added practicality of a screw-down crown with 100m water resistance. Housed inside the Oyster case is the in-house 3132 calibre, which features Rolex’s proprietary “Paraflex” shock absorption system, a 48-hour power reserve, Chronometer certification, and is tested after casing to a tolerance of +2 to -2 seconds per day.

The watch is presented in good condition, with some lights marks and swirls visible on the case, bracelet, and clasp. Also included in the sale are the box, guarantee, purchase receipt, booklet, and swing tags. Rolex’s five-year warranty provides cover until 2024, with an additional five years provided by The Watches of Switzerland Group.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
