Sell it with usThis Rolex Datejust is offered by a private collector who purchased the watch new from an authorised dealer in Bangalore, India. It is accompanied by its box, warranty card, booklets and swing tags. There are also two spare links for the bracelet. The vendor advises the watch is a December 2019 example in mint condition with only retail handling, and it has some factory stickers in place. The overall condition appears to be within the bounds of their ‘AA’ grading.
Along with its attractive sunray blue baton dial the watch has a sapphire crystal complete with the distinctive Cyclops lens at the 3 o’clock position. The dial luminescence is Rolex Chromalight blue. The Jubilee bracelet is fitted with a folding Oysterclasp and incorporates an Easlylink extension for tool-free adjustment. Housed inside the case is Rolex’s latest generation in-house calibre 3235. This automatic mechanical movement is chronometer-certified and tested after casing to +2 to -2 seconds per day. The water resistance is quoted as 100 meters for this model.
The Datejust is a true heritage reference for Rolex, having been first introduced in 1945. The timepiece has influenced watch design, and it remains today a core model in the company’s lineup.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
