SUMMARY
Known as a benchmark reference for Patek Philippe, the Perpetual Calendar Chronograph ref. 5270 was introduced at Baselworld in 2011. In 2018, Patek updated the watch to feature a salmon dial with a platinum case. Its elegant case measures 41mm in diameter and 12.4mm in height and is expertly hand finished with sharp lines and distinctive faceted lugs. The salmon dial is neatly laid out with sub-registers and apertures displaying the array of complications. Turning the watch over, a sapphire case back reveals the calibre CH 29-535 PS Q. This manually wound movement is elaborately decorated and typifies Patek Philippe’s rich history in complicated watchmaking.
