SUMMARY
Introduced in 1976, the Patek Philippe Nautilus is considered to be one of the more elegant Swiss sports watches. Designed by Gerald Genta, its tasteful, iconic design is loved by luxury watch collectors around the world and remains largely unchanged since its launch almost five decades ago.The reference 5712R is immediately recognisable thanks to the integration of several complications, including a moon phase, a power reserve indicator, and a radial date. The watch’s iconic rounded polygon case is finished in 18K rose gold, with a blend of satin and polished finishes throughout. The hand-finished transitions showcase the watchmaker’s attention to detail. Measuring 40mm in diameter and with a thickness of 8.5mm, this Nautilus rests purposefully on the wrist without sacrificing wearer comfort.
