KEY FACTS
- This limited “James Bond” edition Seamaster was commissioned in 2019 to celebrate 50 years since the release of the 1969 007 adventure, “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service”
- The watch boasts several Bond-themed tropes, the most evident is its black ceramic dial engraved with the iconic 9mm 007 gun barrel design
- Look even closer, and you’ll notice a downsized 18k version of Bond’s family coat-of-arms at the 12 o’clock hour marker
- A subtle reference to this Seamaster’s Bond lineage is the secret ‘50’ revealed at the 10 o’clock marker when the watch’s face is illuminated
- A total of 7,007 of these timepieces were made, and each watch’s number is engraved on an 18K yellow gold screw-mounted gold plate found on the side of its 42mm case
- Housed inside the case is the self-winding Omega co-axial master chronometer calibre 8800 movement, which has a power reserve of 55 hours and is magnetic resistant up to 15,000 gauss
- Offered by a UK-based private collector
- Presented with its 007 branded display box, warranty card, master chronometer card, pictograms card, certificate of authenticity, operating instructions, cloth and swing tag
- In addition to the rubber strap that’s fitted to the watch, a 007 stamped Omega stainless steel bracelet is also included alongside a strap changing tool
- Graded ‘AA’ for condition by the vendor
- A factory protective sticker is in place on the caseback
