Nicknamed the ‘Panda’ for its white dial and contrasting black ceramic ‘Cerachrom’ bezel, this 2018 watch is one of the most sought-after versions of Rolex’s eponymous motorsport-inspired watch. This 40mm watch’s appeal is rooted largely in its contrasting colour scheme and updated design, which gives the Daytona a more modern appearance and improved wearability. The Rolex Daytona was launched in 1963 when the five-pointed crown took over the title sponsorship of the Daytona International Speedway, and the watch has since become both a constant and a much-loved part of the brand’s lineup.
