ABOUT THIS WATCH

  • First introduced in 1957, the Omega Railmaster was built for railway staff or anyone who worked close to electrical fields because of its resistance to magnetic fields of up to 1,000 gauss
  • This contemporary reference was released as part of Omega’s 60th anniversary trilogy in 2017 and is a reissue that pays homage to the original 1957 model
  • It features a compact 38mm case with a conical bezel and a sloped sapphire crystal, evoking the appearance of plexiglass while still providing scratch resistance
  • It retains a vintage aesthetic with a matte black dial, accented by Super-LumiNova indices and hands that offer a vintage-inspired patina
  • Powering the watch is the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8806; an automatic movement with 55 hours of power reserve and resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss
  • The watch is water-resistant up to 60 meters and features a screw-down crown
