ABOUT THIS WATCH
- Launched in 2010, and in production for a decade, the ref. 116610LN ushered in a new generation of design and technology for the world's most recognised dive watch
- Rolex introduced its all-new 40mm 'Super' case with wider lugs, and a 'Cerachrom' ceramic bezel was fitted for additional robustness and scratch resistance
- The dial was also reworked with larger markers and hands offering enhanced legibility
- Thanks to a trip-lock screw-down crown and Oyster case, waterproofness is rated to 300m
- Internally, the watch is powered by the tried and tested calibre 3135 movement which is chronometer-certified and equipped with a 48-hour power reserve
- Like all Submariners, it's paired with an Oyster bracelet housing Rolex's Glidelock tool-free extension system
